It’s been over 2 years since my last post on this blog. I think it’s time to put it to use again.

I’d like to continue my writing on here by creating a sort of behind the scenes series where I provide just a little more insight into the individual photographs I’m sharing on both Instagram & FB.

It’s going to going to take a technical approach in breaking down some of the elements I love (or do not love) about the individual photographs, and my hope is that it can convey the way I use the ‘photographic language’ (ie. composition, lighting, etc) in a simple, helpful way to beginners.

Sometimes it might be just a few words, other times a few paragraphs.

This is exactly what my favourite photographers have done and I’d love to, if even feebly, begin to contribute to that type of space. Beyond that, perhaps after time I could compile the series into one comprehensive body of work, a book?
